In my library bag, I have the books:
My sister has quite kindly pointed out the fact that that is a lot of books. Or she would if she wasn’t used to me getting a bit more than that every week. I picked them up from the library on Friday and have read the first five already. That means one thousand, five hundred, and eighty-seven pages in less than twelve hours. I counted.
You can also tell that I am going through an E. D. Baker stage. I love her books. I can’t wait to review more. Speaking of reviews, try and guess which books are coming up this week?
I have recently discovered the fact that you can put books on hold from your home computer. The Tuesday after I learned this interesting fact I picked up ten books that were on hold and got a few curious looks from passerby. What can I say? Some of those books I never find on the shelves at my library and didn’t even know that they were in the system. My sister thinks I’m crazy because I get so many books on hold at a time. All I can say is that I am not patient and would rather get books on hold instead of just wait until they show up on the shelves.
I have gotten really into The Fairytale Matchmaker series by E. D. Baker. I have been reading the series and the book that I am on is called The Magical Match. There is one tiny flaw. That book is only available in E-book form in my library system. What do I do? I get the Overdrive app on my kindle and place a hold there. My sister says I’m insane.
I also got the NERDS series on Friday and am really looking forward to read more there. I’ve only read the first book. In fact, I finished it this morning. I also introduced it to my brother, who is probably reading it at this very moment.
I have been looking for The Wide Window for months and never (NEVER!!) found it. There was the first, second, fourth, even twelfth book, but never the third. So a couple of days ago I had the sense to place a hold on it. I was very happy when I was finally able to read it.
So maybe you guys aren’t that interested in all this, but I hope that you enjoyed reading about what I’m reading. Maybe it will inspire you to read these books on your own. And don’t worry, I will post on a couple of these books this upcoming week. Stay tuned, and see you later.
